Hadith 22 & 23

Hadith 22

(H.R. Muslim)

Penerangan Hadith

Hadith 22

the first thing that is being emphasized in this hadith from Sheikh Ali Jumuah is the importance of not being arrogance because of our own a'mal. the man in this hadith asked Rasulullah SAW the minimum he can do   to enter jannah. Rasulullah SAW also emphasized that what most important is not the quantity of a'mal we are doing but the honesty that we put onto our a'mal. we may do a lot of additional than the obligatory a'mal but without honesty plus arrogance that we had *ana khairun minhu syndrome*, will make us fall to our own knee in the end. people who did this minimum a'mal with honesty and all his heart will enter jannah before us. Rasulullah SAW said in another hadith, "Exaggerators are doomed" and he forbids toughness and straying from sunnah, which we can review from the hadith 5 narrated by Aishah r.a.
second, Rasulullah SAW highlighted the difference of haram and halal and also the limit of wara'. don't exaggerate and straying from the sunnah, be modest and do what you can do because we will get tired from doing a'mal and let us feel bored and sometimes, we lost the honesty of doing it. we feel tired but Allah did not feel tired, so do a'mal to what you can occupy. enjoy the lawful act and forbid yourselves from doing the unlawful.

Hadith 23

there are 4 important things from this hadith that Rasulullah SAW told us.
the first one is, purity is half of the iman. in this hadith, Sheikh Ali Jumuah told us the importance of ablution. ablution is the weapon of the believer against himself, life, vanity and satan. if we have wudhu' all the time, we can pray any place when it's the call for prayer.
second is, the remembrance of Allah can keep one heart at calm. 10 noble words.
third is, prayer as light, charity erase the sins.
the last one is, everyone is a vendor. ask Allah for safety every time you go out.
